the codex - file resources

Being a section in which I'll deposit all the miscellaneous downloadable stuff I've put up.

Since I'm now working on a strict(er) space constraint due to the new host, I've removed tank AVI #1. #2 is much higher in quality, so it isn't a big loss...

game mods

Yep, I'm a bit of a game nut. I also enjoy making small mods for games in my free time. Have fun with these:

Anime Sims

The following are anime- and manga-themed skins for The Sims, a popular (though aging) "people simulation" game. Please read the included readme file for instructions, design notes, credits (in the case of modified skins) and other quasi-useful information. All skins and meshes were created or modified by myself (from skins/meshes available in the public domain).

Urd (Aa! Megami-sama!) - portions of mesh by JadeEternity. See credits.

Akamatsu Ken (famous manga artist!)

media

The following are various bits of 3D artwork I've done. Some might even be good.

the whole tank thingie
One day, on impulse, I made a 3D hovertank model. Having done so, I found out that it actually looked decent (to me at least), so went and started doing JPGs, AVIs, etc. which are now here.

AVI #2 (apx. 460K)
This was the second AVI I did; the first (same scene) wasn't as good, and was almost as big (filesize).
GIF of the tank
JPG of the tank
These images require a display set to True Color depth (24- or 32-bit) for best results.

my latest creation
If you want to know why my renderings always seem to resemble audio equipment, well, I always use this matte black 'placeholder' material, and somehow it always ends up looking better than the material I was going to use...
JPG of this robot-thingy
Once again, True Color if you please...

Placeholder.

OTHER: The Azumanga Profile wallpaper (not my own creation, in case you're wondering. r.a.a.m posters click here!)

software

I've been informed that the following software is share/freeware. If it should happen not to be and you know, pls. mail me (address at bottom of page).
