 		"Scythe"
Before anything else I must note that this is not entirely "my" image. It started when a poster, known as "Jay", on the Megatokyo forums sought inspiration for an image with a "gothic" look and feel. He provided this sketch as a basis, asking that "entrants" not alter the overall outline. Of course, I had to go and monkey with it.
The first image that came to my mind was one of black wings with feathers falling from them, leaving only ivory-hued bone behind. The goth look would probably mean whiter-than-white skin and black hair, and from there we were off. A couple of elements in this image are in fact subtle references to certain games, actually.
I'm actually rather pleased with the way this one turned out, with my only regret being my omission of more detailed "special effects" work on the feathers. That, and the fact that the bones were mistaken by more than one person for bamboo!
